Build each other up
Backr exists for people starting something new. Offer specific, respectful feedback. Disagree with ideas without attacking the people behind them.
Share responsibly
- Keep private drafts and trade secrets private. Only publish information you are comfortable making public.
- Share your own ideas or content you have permission to use. Credit relevant sources.
- Never publish another person's private messages, personal details, documents, or confidential plans without permission.
No harassment or discrimination
Do not bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or target anyone with hateful or discriminatory abuse. Respect requests to stop contacting someone.
No scams or spam
No fake identities, engagement manipulation, repetitive unsolicited promotions, phishing, misleading business claims, malware, or deceptive recruitment.
Collaborate safely
Describe clearly what kind of help you want. Never pressure users to share confidential information, credentials, or payment details. Get written agreements when collaborating on intellectual property, equity, or employment.
No investment transactions
Backr is for ideas and feedback, not for listing securities, collecting investments, or offering equity through the platform.
Report and block
Use the in-app reporting and blocking tools when necessary. Reports are reviewed according to available moderation processes. Blocking may hide another person's content from you but does not necessarily prevent them from viewing public posts.
Enforcement and appeals
